Ensure security of the entire production system architecture and supporting instances and environments. Configure and maintain all PS environments and instances, which include Web, Application and Database setup, SSL and load balancing and Portal. Ensure the proper function of PIA, AppServer, Webserver, SQR, Cobol and the process scheduler. Review PeopleSoft patches/fixes and upgrades to apply them to all PS environments. Maintain migration procedures and workflows insuring change control is utilized. Setup and implement PS/Oracle objects migrating from one environment to another. Assist developers in performance and tuning queries. Determine when to create or remove indices to ensure acceptable processing time for all SQRs migrated to production. Monitor system by developing and maintaining monitoring scripts. Conduct performance test and ensure performance to support a large number of users and processes. Perform system upgrades of PeopleTools and HRMS (i.e. HRMS 8.9 and PeopleTools 8.4.6.11) Proactively monitor Web Servers, Application Servers, Process Schedulers, middleware (Weblogic and Tuxedo) and tune for optimum performance and respond to outages. Identify and tune poorly performing SQRs, SQL, and App Engine code. Provide PeopleSoft Admin support to the technical support team/development team.
